I have read this chapter many times over the years and a passage jumped out at me that I have probably just read over 50 times before.
Acts 2:44-47
And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Can you imagine if everyone that was in our church "everyone" decided to sell everything they had and distribute it to everyone who was needy. Imagine if all 300 of us did that together at the same time. Imagine if day by day we came to the church to worship God and hear his word.
That is exactly what these people did in Acts 2.
I believe to a certain extent that this is what the church is called to do. If we all would be completely focused on God and not on impressing other people the church would explode. If we would as a body always be looking for that person who has a need, their would be no needs in the church.
What do you think would happen if the whole church decided to sell all the crap they didn't need and give the money to people who did need it?

That would be a revival that would rock the world!
I think that it would be sweet if we brought old clothes or anything like that, that we dont need anymore to a shelter or something. Those little things to us would be huge to someone who is in need of help.
